Brady Smale
Lead Pastor
Brady came to know the Lord at a young age and was raised in a pastor’s home in Oberlin, Ohio. He graduated from a Christian school in Cincinnati in 2010 and went on to attend Bible college in Texas, where he earned an Associate’s degree in ministry in 2015. He later completed his Bachelor's degree in Theology from an online Bible college in 2021. In 2014, Brady married Marjorie Dennis in Ohio, and together they have two sons, Austin and Brayden. He returned to Ohio in 2015 and began serving as the Assistant Pastor at Victory Baptist Temple in 2016. In 2019, Brady became the Pastor of Lake Avenue Baptist Church.
Timothy Miller
Assistant Pastor
Timothy came to know the Lord while in high school and soon felt God's call on his life. He attended Oklahoma Baptist University and served as a Youth Minister before joining the United States Army, which brought him to Odenton, Maryland. While stationed there, he became a member of Odenton Baptist Church, where he met and later married his wife, Katrina Hamilton. God has blessed Timothy and Katrina with five wonderful children: Madeline, Matilda, Micah, Malachi, and Mabel. After faithfully serving in Maryland, the Lord led their family to Ohio. In March of 2025, Timothy was ordained at Lake Avenue Baptist Church and now serves as our Assistant Pastor. His heart is to serve the Lord, his family, and the church with faithfulness and humility.
Weston Smale
Music Leader
Weston came to faith at a young age and was raised in a pastor’s home in Oberlin, Ohio. In 2012, he graduated from a Christian school in Texas and attended a local Bible college for a year, pursuing a degree in music. In 2013, he decided to return to Ohio to serve as the music director. Weston married Heather Leader in 2020, and together they have two sons, Lincoln and Oliver. Heather serves as the church pianist, and together, the Smale family faithfully serves the Lord through the ministry of music.
